New Art Song

The Tobenski-Algera Concert Series re-launches in late January 2010 with new art songs written by young composers. The program also features several songs by Obie Award-winning composer Ricky Ian Gordon.

Works for Solo Piano

Pianist Marc Peloquin will perform new piano works, as well as a recent piece by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer David Del Tredici.

Works for Violin & Piano

The Series presents new works for violin and piano. Also featured is Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Ellen Taaffe Zwilich.

Songs by Gay Composers

The Series’ annual Gay Pride Week concert will feature art songs and song cycles composed by gay and lesbian composers, and will include a performance of the winning entry by the winner of the First Annual Secret Music Award.
